Lizard lifeboat station

the 1960 station explained at http://www.thelizardlifeboat.org.uk/history.htm

The rocks off the Lizard peninsula have caused many shipwrecks over the ages and earlier stations such as at Lizard Chapel Cove become unsuitable (and gentrified). The Lookout, now voluntarily manned can be seen at Bass Point top left on the south east corner of the peninsula
