Fractured life

Vancouver

A multiple exposure of this waterfront scene in Vancouver. It’s a bit fractured, just like my life has been of late. Some of you know my sister has stage 4 lung cancer. She’s been fighting it for over 2 years. She’s in hospital right now and not doing so well. Seems so odd that my life just carries on as it usually would, despite things that happen outside your control.

A fascinating shot Carol. Sad to hear about your sister. I'm sure you find, like I do, photography makes a great distraction from life's difficulties. V

It does have a frenetic urgency to it and very artistic at the same time. ~BV~

I was wondering where you had been. So sorry to hear about your sister - I know how something like that can turn your life upside down. My best wishes to her and to your whole family.

a well wrought image Carol, but heart-breaking news regarding your sister...stage 4 sounds grim..life's twists can be cruel, so all you can do is stay strong and ride it all out...maybe we should meet over the weekend or early next week, location of our choice..

A very creative image, Carol! I am very well aware of how you feel.
I have lost three loved ones to lung cancer and a forth isn't far behind.
