My fabulous trip to NY and Canada... My Father was going, but refused last minute, so I got his ticket, etc...
First time with Continental, and an USA Airline on Intercontinental, International flights. How was it?
Some very nice points, like they had Cabin Attendants speak many different languges, even 1 in Portuguese. And service was not so bad, average...
But 2 things were unexcusable: Flying across the Atlantic for 7 hours on a single aisle Airplane, bad, but much worst was, on the 5 flights I did with Continenal across the pond, we always got terrible turbulence! Coincidence? Don't think so!
Our return flight with then the worst of the worst!
Newark at the time was an horrible place! Nowhere to eat, nothing to do. We were waiting and waiting for a rain front to pass, then embarked, then stayed over 2 hours onboard, going round and round, as they changed runways...
And the flight home? 7 Hours to forget!
