My 7 yr old grandson, Scout, just lost his first tooth and was visited by the Tooth Fairy who left behind $5.00. When I lost my first tooth around 1940, the Tooth Fairy only left me 25 cents. Bah, humbug I say ..................................

Cool photo. Five bucks won't buy a lot now, but I hope he's happy with it. I think I got an MPC for my first tooth.

It's not as bad as you think! The 25 cents in 1940 would be worth $4.31ish now. You bought a lot more candy with that quarter then Scout could with a fiver now!

I only got a dime for every tooth! Cheap fairy!! But this is heartwarming and brings such memories back!! I'm sure you will treasure this image for a very long time!!
