At the heart of Barcelona is the work of Antoni Gaudi, the renowned and creative architect whose designs form a major part of the city’s identity. This home was renovated by Gaudi between 1904-06. For decades, it operated as a home, but has since become open to the public. The dragon’s back design on the roof terrace is one of several major features. Also famous are the large, stained glass, irregularly shaped windows, the curving balconies and dramatic staircases.
