Emerald Drapery

Finnich Glen, Trossachs, Scotland

Another large view of this magnificent place.

The walls of this fascinating river gorge in the Trossachs hang with verdant green mosses, bracken and vines like huge green curtains billowing in a breeze the length of the canyon through which the river pours tumbling over peat enriched cascades lined with fallen Beech leaves. I used a 5 stop ND filter to reveal the bubble trails against the dark water taking advantage of the overcast sky and softly fallen rain to manage the contrast inherent in such a place.

Fabulous - I love how the filter enhances the water - BV
