Hello Traveller 2
I will be away from Pbase for a while due to my wife being very ill.
I hope to get back some time in the future.
Best wishes.
John

Good to know you are still about. I am a fan from far away in Kansas, United States. Your pictures of everyday life are very interesting, as well as your sense of humor. But I digress, had not seen any thing from you in some time and it worried me. So; never mind and carry on. Thanks

Nice one, John.
I looked up this ship on Wikipedia
and at first I thought they stole your photo.

Bob, it was accidentally burnt very badly during a refit.
So it got a much better refit, it was virtually renewed.

Only the crew Ricardo, life was a lot better for the captain.

John, The Lines and Rigging are a work of art.
John (Cross) I would love to see your Photo of the Cutty Sark under full sail.

Elegant ship, but life on board was very hard.

Sure; you might even have loved it about 40 years ago when the whole hull was accessible to view. I don't think the glass cushion does anything for it (apart from possibly bringing in more cash to maintain it)
