We stopped at an upscale shopping area over the weekend which had been transformed into a rescue dog fair put on by a group out of New York called the Mutt-i-grees Movement http://www.animalleague.org/muttigrees-movement/ . I was impressed that they had driven all that distance to find forever homes for a number of dogs and only wish we could have taken one home with us, but our house is too small for another dog, and Sahraa would never stand for it, unfortunately. I do hope some of the dogs, who were just delightful, were adopted.

I couldn’t resist including a picture of their very distinctive looking truck. What a way to travel! I tried to find out from their site if many dogs had been adopted at the event, but couldn’t locate any news about it. I’m considering donating some money to them because they have a cause that’s dear to my heart and hardworking volunteers willing to travel all this distance in the hope of placing these dogs in loving homes.
