This really says winter is coming. Nice mixed season capture, Marcia. The low clouds and the dusting of snow are lovely with the remains of autumn. Vote.
A dance of warmth & cold. The sparse remnant of orange & gold leaves are a strong element, like dying embers of a fire bravely flickering against the descent of winter.
The color in this image is the key I think. I like how the orangey leaves match the red earth in the tufas (or whatever you call them). The stark cold blues and white of winter contrast nicely with the warm colors suggesting autumn.
