Controlling

Thurso

This is the control room for the Dounreay Materials Testing Reactor (DMTR).
The nuclear reactor is now decommissioned and the control room has been moved to a local museum.
It dates back to 1958. Great technology then and more advanced than the wifi that doesn't work in my hotel.

Well, at least there's enough heat left in the reactor for a nice, hot cuppa.
Oh wait... that's probably not a GOOD thing, right?

I have the same argument with analogue TV over digital which has been a pain in the neck since they switched analogue off :(

Amazing, it looks sort of simple for such an important thing like a reactor.

The cup adds humanity to it. Very nice.

Nice interesting image, Bill! I have encountered wifi problems in a motel that we often stay at.
Very frustrating!!
