The sand dunes traversed on the Canning Stock Route are 10 to 15m in height.
Usually shallow angles at the base and a sharp angle at the apex testing vehicle ground clearance as well as engine stamina and traction to get over the sand dune.
Notice the animal tracks. This is the easiest path in moving through the desert so feral camels in particular stick to the road when walking from water hole to water hole.
