Certain evergreen trees are dying in the Blue Mountains of northeastern Oregon. This is along I-84 above Cabbage Hill. All the trees should be dark green. Many are not. I think the culprit is armarillia root disease. Seen on the first day of a road trip to Utah.
I'm seeing more and more dying trees in the Sierra's as well. The drought and the Bark Beetle are stressing the trees and making them weak and vulnerable to disease and pests.
