I have come down with self-diagnosed Bucharest Man Flu, which is very debilitating.
I am sure I caught it last week in Romania, or on the flight home courtesy of recycled Airbus air.
So off I set to buy some medicine when I spied this honeyed bourbon, on special offer at Aldi would you believe.
Very nice it is too, honey smooth on the poor old sore throat, with more than a hint of oaky flavour in the background.
Although I am not convinced it has ever seen an oak barrel in Kentucky. But it must come from the USA to be called bourbon.
And another very nice surprise was how sharp this photograph was handheld at 1/15s, despite the flu-shakes and a few doses of the medicine.
