Church of St Margaret, Whitton

The circular windows are authentically Saxon, the upper C15th clerestory and roof being added later. The double splay circles were formed by putting mould baskets into the shuttering http://poppy.nsms.ox.ac.uk/woruldhord/attachments/1326/326.1326.original.pdf?1285239524

So interesting that the round windows are Saxon. That part of the church must be very old.
