The picturesque town of Ponte de Lima, located about an hour’s drive north of Porto, is home to one of Portugal’s biggest horse events. Ponte de Lima Horse Fair is held at Expolima in the outskirts of the town, every year in June. This fair is charming; it has a warm and very friendly atmosphere.
