Another of the more than 50 covered bridges in Oregon is the Ritner Creek Bridge, located on Hwy 223, about two miles south of the small community of Pedee, near the Polk/Benton County Line. This is a bridge I didn't yet have in my covered bridge gallery - http://www.pbase.com/fotabug/covered_bridges
"In addition to its original use as a highway crossing over the creek, residents for nearly 80 years have used the Ritner Creek Covered Bridge for weddings, community picnics, dances and as a shelter from the rain... The bridge is listed on the National Historic Register, and now serves as a roadside park. It is one of the most photographed structures in the state of Oregon." - http://www.ritnercreekcoveredbridge.com/
