They Fought So He Could Be Free

I captured this scene of a small boy inspecting a B24 J Liberator at an exhibit of WWII aircraft. For me the modern day connection between the youngster and the vintage warplane symbolizes the enduring legacy of the brave men and women who served their country during the Second World War.

A beautiful image! A wonderful comparison of this classic from WWII and the child some 70 years apart is so moving and black and white is the perfect choice. V.
