Desert architecture

We encountered a group of traditional Saudi buildings upon entering the grounds of the festival.

On our way with our security detail, posted earlier.

A nice change to see the traditional style buildings in the desert setting. In a way, they seem to be extensions of the desert. Well seen and captured, Helen. V.

Interesting and different topping to the walls - quite exotic looking V
Too bad the festival didn't go too well for you.

It looks so desolate, hard to imagine a festival going on there. :) Glad you got to go, and sorry you didn't get to really enjoy it all. V

Such an interesting building. I do hope you heal quickly. Although the photos would have been awesome sometimes it's okay to put down the camera and just enjoy the moment. V
