We rode the Santorini Cable Car down from the main town of Fira to the Old Port. At this time of the day when most tourist are boarding their cruise ships, the line can be long. Cars going up are mostly empty.
Each train of the cable car has 6 cabins that can sit 6 persons for a total of 36. The system can carry 1200 passengers per hour.
