ε210 carbon f3 NJP 1993

The Epsilon series utilizes a hyperbolic Pyrex primary mirror, a 80mm eliptical diagonal both with enhanced aluminum coatings, and a 4-element field corrector placed in the base of the focuser. Its image circle 57mm, thus produce wide flat photographic fields of 5.1°, this large photographic field allows the use of 35mm to medium format 6x9cm film. Stellar images of less than 20 microns.
The unique focuser of Epsilon 210 utilize a helical focusing system with critical focusing at a small rotation angle. The built-in camera angle adjuster is an added feature. This device allows 360° rotation of the camera used without loss of focus. ε-210 at f/3 is the fastest of all Tak astrograph. It comes with a carbon tube (1993) & metal tube (1996) version.
Moreover, the Epsilons are first rate wide field optical telescopes. The stellar images are pinpointed sharp to the very edge, which makes them a fine comet seeker or deep sky instrument.
Specification of ε-210 carbon tube:
Total length/ diameter/ weight of main tube 750mm/ 280mm/ 10.4kg (15.3kg for metal tube)
Loaded on NJP EQ mount, high precision at +/-3.5" periodic error, maximum loading 30kg, R.A. gear 240 teeth, Dec. gear 144 teeth, PD-4-XY dual axis motor drive & 3pcs of 6.5kg counterweight are standard accessories, mount head weight 25kg. The switchable friction clutch device of R.A. axis provide either manual or motor driven function
