Here’s a rhyme about a goat
[which wears a multi coloured coat],
whose origins lie in Switzerland,
in the Saanen Valley [very grand],
but now this snow white expatriate
resides right here in the Sunshine State.
Her long and slender neck,
starts thirty inches off the deck,
which makes her look quite gracious,
and her udder is rather capacious.
Her carers milk her every day,
then feed her on the best of hay
and rug her up to keep her warm,
before she goes to flaunt her form,
[inquisitive eyes and a calm demeanour]
for the Ekka judges in the main arena.

She was at the 2003 Royal Queensland show,
which is affectionately known as the Ekka.
