those are intriguing srructures...a small raised granary seen in Spain is known as a horreo, on stilts for drying grain and protecting it from rodents..

I've never seen a granary on stilts till now but it makes sense with their proximity to the river. Your superb composition and the muted wintry colours make a great image.
