The Pollinator!

According to the USDA, bees are the champion pollinators! Here is some evidence of their effectiveness. This bee's hind legs are heavily coated with pollen, and it didn't seem to be done yet! I thought it looked beautiful against this brightly colored flower! Photo made at Alton Baker Park.

For more information about bee pollenation, see: http://www.fs.fed.us/wildflowers/pollinators/animals/bees.shtml

This is my last post before surgery. I will have my eye surgery tomorrow morning. The doctor has told me that recovery is four to six weeks. But I hope I can get on the computer before very long. Carol will be checking my mail. Thanks for looking at today's photo!
