Sticky Fingers

The Rolling Stones kick off their 15-city North American tour at Petco Park in downtown San Diego tonight at 8pm.
When I passed the stadium this official merchandise truck shortly after 9AM there were already many fans in line to get in.
There were still a few hundred tickets available today ranging from $320 to $15,000. Over 40,000 tickets were sold.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I know it's only rock'n roll (and merchandise too) but I like it! Nice shot.

It would be a great show to see. The ticket prices are crazy.

Super find and shot, Walter. We saw them at the Waldbühne Berlin last June; it was really great. V

What $15,000 (one ticket) would do to help the orphans we saw in Tanzania - it's a sad world. Good shot tho' :) V

This group sure brings back memories of places visited and events in life. Nice clarity and colors but I am waiting for the music to start. Voted

Great shot of this merchandise truck.

Any concert from the Stones could be a last one ... but Mick still hasn't got any satisfaction ... sorry, money!

Wow, can't believe anyone would pay that kind of money for a ticket. I imagine Petco Park is a neat place to see a concert though. Wonder how much money that truckload of stuff will bring in. Nice sharp shot! V

Who would have thought that the Stones would still be at it 50 years later?

In the early 1970's Sir Yehudi Menuhin said of the Rolling Stones "Their music is just noise and of no long term value" (Me paraphrasing him.) What did he know? V

51 years after "Time is on My Side" and still going. In 1964 who was still going strong from 1913??? :-))) Great shot. BV

Nice presentation and captioned info. ~V

Neat thing to see Walter! V
I'd rather buy a CD vs. pay the exorbitant price for a ticket to see them (or anyone) live....

Nice catch and nice composition, V

graphically bold image, and bold graphics too...doubtless the Stones can still deliver the music, yet the expensive merchandise can be off-putting..
