Eighteeen Turtles

Hand Held in 30MPH wind with stronger gusts.
Missed a couple of shots because the wind was knocking the long zoom barrow all over the place.
However, I managed to "get" as many (or more) decent shots as I missed. Under those difficult hand held shooting conditions, that was IMHO pretty amazing. At least for me. I didn't expect to do quite this well in the high wind.

Even the tiny Bridge Camera was being taken for a ride... Although I like my Bridge Camera very much, I didn't get many satisfactory photos in the high wind. However, the Bridge Camera was a lot easier to hand hold.

Although my "reach" was only a modest 169 mm in this image, a 1.4x extender was on my new lens.
These results are not as quite as good as those from some of my Prime lenses.
However, I'm not disappointed. It seems quite good for a zoom lens with an added tele extender.
I will be keeping the lens.

I'm impressed that you shot so many turtles yesterday! I thought it was too cold for them yet...
