Beautiful clear sky evening over the Stonehaven Monument near Dunnottar Castle last night
The image on the left is a single 30 second exposure with the monument painted with torch light
The image on the right is 50 similar continuous images stacked to create star trails
The slight orange tint in the sky horizon is light pollution from Stonehaven but the thin green layer above could be faint aurora activity
