TV is Brainwashing

Only half the story - the guy in the red sweatshirt in the background was hosting a TV show called "Broke Ass Game Show", and they were paying people $150 to fart into a microphone :^O

Super capture! I was rather hoping to hear what detergent he was promoting.

I fully agree with the protester and virtually never watch TV. But my brain is still washed - by internet. V.

Excellent capture. Probably why I haven't owned a TV in 6 years. BV

Unbelievable! The crassness of so much modern television is almost beyond belief!
Great street shot though, Kent. *V*

Great capture and story Kent. A terrific batch of opinions here as well! Your photo has done what all good photographs should do...make people think and talk. V

Great candid image, I think the guy holding the sign is correct.
John Vass makes a great point as well.

Fortunately, televisions still have 'off' switches.....the silence is precious.

This is so good. The fellow with the sign has a very real message and contrast
that with what this TV show is doing is just priceless a moment. V

A thought provoking shot.
It’s more than Brain Washing!
It’s the continuation of The Great Dumbing Down of America!
The rise of the digital age has accelerated the process.
Something that was going to bring people together for good and it has done that to a certain extent. At the same time it has set the bar very low and farting in to a microphone on a game show is a perfect example. It has convinced the idiots that they are not idiots because they find their own kind and there is safety in the heard! They Lionize the Fool!
It’s sad they shout down the voice of reason while lock-stepping into the digital abyss that kills decent from the media train of thought on what they say is the new morality.
I guess we should be grateful that Hermann Goering did not have TV or the internet.

Farting is brain-washing? Depends on your point of view, I guess...
As for TV, don't get me started!
Nice shot though. V

Very well timed protest well captured! :-)
globalgadabout11-Dec-2014 05:25
a game show featuring recorded farts seems a prime example of what the protestor is railing against...television, already in it's death throes, is mind-numbing nowadays, largely junk programming jammed between a flood of commercial messages...superb, timely image..V

LOL. Great capture and story. Love it, Kent. V
