Snowy Owl (Male): SERIES

Series of two (2) images:

FINALLY!!!! The first Snowy Owl for Fall 2014. The fact that it is a male is, as they say; "Icing on the strudel!!".

Bottom image: When first spotted; the owl was on the ground in a cornfield. It then flew west across a road; and landed on a fence post (where the top image was taken).

The bottom image was taken with a Nikon N1 V2 and the 1 Nikkor 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 VR lens.
