spawning grounds

Adams River, near Chase

this is very near the mouth of the Adams River (177km/110 mi long)...here underwater gravel beds each year provide ideal spawning grounds for sockeye salmon...2014 has been identified as a 'dominant' year for the annual 'run', with salmon returning in the millions...beneath the surface a sort of wanton orgy takes place, and the next generation of the prized (and tasty) fish are set on their way

I see some salmon chaser fishing. I wonder if the girl with the camera is from Fish & Game, keeping an eye out for over-fishing.
