Morella. Basílica de Santa Maria la Mayor

View from the Castle.
Impressive gothic temple, its style and characteristics differentiate it from all the others I've seen.
In the first place, the two entrances are found on the same side, practically next to each other: the apostles door (14th century) and the virgins door (15th century). Legend says that a father and son built it, and a rivalry started when they decided on how to construct the most beautiful doors possible for the church. The legend could be true, as the entrances are indeed exceptional, a perfect design that you can't but help admire in detail.
But this place has a series of large and small details that will leave you amazed, and we're not even talking about a cathedral

Pretty houses in a style typical of the region, the temple looks like crouching in the undergrowth - wonderful Jose!
