Ilford XP-2 film, 1/60th at f5.6. Kian is one of my violin students, and
one of my favorite subjects - she's very photogenic. This portrait shows
off XP-2 at it's best - subjects with a compressed range and shot
at ASA 200, rated one full stop slower than it's box rating. It also shows
the improvement in lenses made by the Japanese in the 70's. The Pentax-M
50mm f1.4 is one of the very sharpest lenses I own. I also use it on
my digital cameras. This is a scanned 4x6 machine print.
