Crimson Clashach

Clashach Cove, Moray, Scotland

The crimson underbelly of low cloud, colours up shortly after another beautiful summer sunset matures on the Moray coast. The sandstone bedrock is deliciously scuplted by the sea and worn smooth by the action of grinding stones rolled over the soft rock. The light hues of the rock and wet rounded surfaces help to paint in both light and colour to the foreground magnifying and scattering the light in all directions.
