North and Middle Sister From McKenzie Pass in Oregon Cascades

My friend, John, and I drove to the top of the McKenzie Pass (elev. 5300 feet) this morning. From the Dee Wright Observatory there, one gets a good view of several nearby mountains, including two of the Three Sisters. In this photo, you see the North and Middle Sisters. It wasn't an ideal day for images of mountains, but I got some passable pictures.

Stunning landscape but I got hung up on that unusual cloud. My hubby is a glider pilot so we both study clouds a lot. That one tells me a front is moving in or out.

Dear Vern...That is completely understandable, and your removal of my criticism was certainly justified. I enjoy your wonderful pictures so much, and have for several years. The only reason I felt compelled to comment was that that photograph - the one you accidentally posted with the blocked up shadows- was such an anomaly compared to your vast portfolio of beautiful images, and I just couldn't resist a little poke at a fella who receives so much well-deserved praise every day. Best wishes to you sir, and may you continue to favor us with your great photography for many more years.

To Steve - since you left no email address to contact you, I'll answer here! This photo is my original post. I accidentally replaced it with the one you saw, so the next morning went back to the original. Since your comment did not apply to this photo I removed it and feel completely justified for doing so. Thanks for looking.

That's a much better picture than before you revised it. I notice my comment about half the frame being dark has been removed. I am impressed that you fixed the problem, but not so much with the removal. Do you only allow only comments that praise your work?

Did you just redo this? It's 10:20 on Saturday. I could swear I looked a half hour ago and the foreground was WAY darker. If you didn't redo it's my bad. It's great like it is now though, so if you did redo, great job.
