There's a new Monarch in town

My daughter's garden

Newly evolved from a caterpillar on my butterfly bush that my daughter put in her incubator to continue its cycle of life rather than being eaten by a lizard. It was only an hour out of its chrysalis when I took this photo. Butterflies have been so scarce this year that we are thrilled to see each one.

A superb shot of this beauty, Colleen! I've seen more of these than last year, but have been unable to get a photo anywhere near as good as this.

A lovely capture! I'd like to see more butterflies where I live.

Fantastic experience and image Coleen. Great to get this homegrown monarch.
