I do like it. The colors are very vibrant. It is not overdone and looks realistic.

I agree, it's not an accurate rendition of the day, the lighting was flat, overcast skies and all. The consensus was that it needed more "pop" from added contrast, I think this is a bit heavy too, in fact the contrast slider is all the way to the right to achieve this, but I would say it is more visually appealing this way, suppose it depends on the intent. I want to go back in better lighting conditions and try again.

I actually like both images. The first one looks more like what we saw but for someone who hasn't been there probably is more appealing.

I have mixed feelings about this. It does "pop" more than the original, but since I was there, it does not look like reality. This image looks like a Kodachrome. Maybe somewhere in between the two would be more to my liking.
