Fall webworm (Hyphantria cunea), #8140

Reveler Conservation Area. Abundant this year and found on a variety of trees and shrubs. They gather in large aggregations when young, and then disperse in their mature (final instar) stage before pupating. This species is highly variable as a caterpillar.
