Savanna growing on the basalt-capped plateau above the gorge, inside the Porcupine Gorge National Park.
The tallest tree is a fine specimen of Dallachy's Ghost Gum (Corymbia dallachiana).

this reminds me of some parts of Australia I saw many years back. An interesting and quite beautiful terrain.
