I'm not a fan of IR, however this is stunning!

Love this - I wondered if it was IR from the thumbnail. Such terrific scenery

Simply beautiful, Cindy!

Thank you, Fred, Terry, Hal and Shirley.

Hal, You have to remove the cameras hot mirror and then replace it with a filter that limits the visible light and lets in the IR light. There are instructions for Do it yourself conversions on the website of LifePixel. LifePixel converted my NEX7 to the Enhanced Color 665nm conversion. I can put 772nm and 830nm filters on my lens to obtain those cut-off points. You can read all about Infrared Photography on the LifePixel website.

This is really a lovely scene Cindy,
and with the special effect it is brilliant.
l'll have to go into one of my older cameras with a can opener
and get that filter out.... if l can find it !!
Are there instruction anywhere on the web ??
