Cabin Bulkhead

Worked on Cabin Bulkhead today. Something not quite right. Even though bulkhead made as per instruction (esp trimming to size) it is not 'high enough' when compared to the example in instructions' image. Fitted additional beam across on top and kept doors closed.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Hello Gentleman,,,
Writing you from Oregon ,,,
I just purchased the Artesania HMS Suprise and should start this week on the build .
I really appreciate your log and will be taking your advise ,,, number one paying very
close attention to the frames and the lofting .
One of my first dissatisfaction with this kit is the mast head ( bow Crown ) . I may need to carve a new and more accurate one .
And perhaps I will post some of my build log .

hello from Australia, I am also building the artesian H.M.S Surprise, I have been at it for three months as of today, the problem with the rear cabin bulkhead In my case was not the prefab ply bulkhead but with the ships frames, check all the heights and also the thickness of these frames, it will be important when you do the second deck, as for the instructions well let's say they leave a lot to be desired, let me say this though look ahead and see which steps are better done ahead of time, for instance when the upper deck has been planked and the gunwales planked as you cut the portholes for the cannons in the bow also cut the portholes for the anchor davits, it's much easier to do at this stage rather than later, anyway drop me a line at my email address and let me know how you are going, at the moment I have been building this ship for three months, regards Charles.
