Hi Jeff, Thanks so much for taking the time and making a kind comment on my little gallery...I wish I had more time to play around with the camera...seems to come in spurts.
On that "self portrait" I was just trying to play around and used a mirror and then reversed the mirror effect with a photo editor. I didn't have any sophisticated equipment and really had to experiment with the light and settings...sat the camera on a glass bowl and used the self timer...used a blue blanket for a background...used ambient light from a bedroom window and tried to play with angles to get good lighting without my fat shadow in the way.
If you have the time check out my new gallery..."Mike's Wedding"...only 2 pictures there so far but I'm pretty proud of my new daughter-in-law.:) I have more pictures to go in that gallery (took about 120) but I gotta find the time to weed through them for the good ones and then crop and edit them.
