Wanting to either remove the bush, or not have them walking to it, I decided to make a layer with just Mom & son, which I then reversed, and moved them to where I was happy with their placement.
On the original background layer I then had to clone out the original figures. I darkened the figures a bit in levels, and I also darkened the bottom section of the water a bit.
I lightened parts of the distant trees and large rock some. I flattened, cropped just above the table and took some off the left, basically eliminating the tree.
Sized for web, and sharpened a bit.
