Bought a 70D to have video and stills in one camera underwater. For stills, it is at least equal to the 7D. For birds in flight, it is nowhere near as capable as the 1D-IV, which costs 4x as much. With an L series lens, it takes amazing video, keeping these swimming loons in constant focus. Will post some to YouTube when I can edit them. For DSLR video this is revolutionary technology. Look at original size image to judge image quality.
