Just as the last dregs of sunlight migrated up the face of Ben Loyal I took this picture at the edge of the salt marshes as the rising tide engulfed the cushions of short grass turning them into little emerald islands. I decided to lengthen the exposure and create a silky sheen on the water then it was just a matter of waiting for the best pattern on the hills and clouds in the sky.
