It may not be deep (although the water was somewhat higher the day I found it in my way), but if you don't know it's there, then the first time you find it... your walk comes to sudden and unexpected end! It looked as if there were stepping stone, but they were well under the (flowing) water, and I did not fancy taking a flyer and a bath if one slipped.
