C14th; I would say it was an upper cruck, not base cruck, ie the timbers at the truss positions that go from the seating to the apex of the roof and are arched braced, would be a pair created by cleaving an appropriately shaped oak tree at the centre. The blurb now says its the village hall, so it must be the grandest village hall in the country
