Kuerner Farm ~ Chadds Ford, PA

Kuerner Farm is a historic farm in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
This farm is famous for its association with artist Andrew Wyeth, who created about one-third of his work (over 1,000 paintings and drawings) on subjects he found there over 77 years.
The farm was listed in the National Register of Historic Places and declared a National Historic Landmark in 2011.
The property abuts the Brandywine Battlefield, another National Historic Landmark.
Open for public tours, Kuerner Farm is operated by the Brandywine River Museum.
This farm will remain in the trust of the Kuerner family until they have all passed on.
Karl Kuerner III is the last remaining Kuerner family member and has no children...

It was a pleasure to meet this American artist, KARL KUERNER III, as he was tending to his livestock!

Wonderful old place, and so typical of Pennsylvania barns - especially the stone walls. Good that the place will be cared for. V
