Mother Earth

Pirates Cove, Arran, Scotland

When the weather just refuses to cooperate you have to resolve yourself to try that little bit harder. Fortunately Arran has some of the oldest and best coastal sculptured rock formations you could ask for and on a murky grey day, one of several I might add, these glorious and vaguely gynaecological rock formations occupied me for a good few hours. Once the idea of mother earth had formed in my mind I couldn't resist introducing additional offspring.

Currently this is one of my very favourite images, I hope you enjoy it too.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and fine art cards are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT

Mother Nature's abstract art. Very nicely composed, Ian.

A mysterious formation, mischievously enhanced by your 'triplets'.
The title chimes with the powerful image.

Mother Earth has her way of giving us so much beauty if we only stop to look. You have done that so well.
