No Words

Struggling today. My wife, Debbie, passed away yesterday, peacefully in her sleep, in hospital.
I can't describe her bravery over the last four years going through her cancer treatments.
Here she is with Katie, last year on our last holiday together in the north of Scotland.
Just how I will always remember her, happy and smiling.
It may be a while before I think about PAD again.

A few days ago, my husband, Don, told me about the recent death of your dog. Today he sent me this beautiful photo of your wife and dog with the sad news that you have now also lost your lovely wife. Our thoughts are with you as you somehow carry on with life despite your grief. May you find some solace in memories and in the caring hearts of your fellow photographers.

I somehow had a feeling and went searching specifically to make sure the pantry picture wasn't still there, and found this... You have my deepest condolences, Bill, and I only hope you can be comforted by the fact that she's no longer suffering, although I'm sure you will be for a long time to come. I hope the memory of her smiling as in this picture will help ease that a bit. Helen
