Hill Family Cabin

Log cabin in Greenwaters Park, Oakridge, Oregon.
Evidently, the original cabin belonged to a Captain William Hill, one of the first settlers in the Oakridge area, around 1820.

Looks pretty amongst the snow. They didn't have a lot of room in there, smaller homes meant less timber and work needed to get them up and liveable I guess.
Paul Milholland03-Feb-2013 21:08
I'll bet they made good use of the fireplace in the old days.
