January 24th -

Driving down the road and this popped out at me.
I pulled over, crossed the street and snapped this pic.
I wasn't here but for a few moments before I was intercepted by the owner of the building.
He was suspicious, of course. Wanted to know what I was doing there, said he'd had break ins.
I tried to belay his fears and showed him my photo.
I didn't want to start something by explaining how dumb would a criminal have to be
to so obviously surveil in broad daylight during business hours.
Or to inform him that I was allowed, by law, to take this picture,
this wall being visible on the street and in the open for all to see.
It's a first amendment issue, see.

It's a curiously pleasing image and good for you for making sure you uphold your first amendment. I was in a science centre with a zillion kids the other day and I was almost driven mad by trying to get a shot that didn't include any children. Things have gone too far!

Put this one on my list for sure!
